What better way to spend a cozy Saturday in February!  We will create fun and whimsical Expressionist still life paintings.  I will provide everything you need.  All you have to do is sign up and come.  Workshop will be on Saturday February 8th from 9:30 to 2:00.

All that’s missing is you!  Come see me in my cozy “makeshift” studio this weekend.  Hours are 10 to 5 Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I am excited to show lots of new work.  

I am a total homebody.  But at this time of year when the temperatures are still cool, and spring is definitely here, I love nothing more than drive a few hours north to visit Door County, our beloved Wisconsin Cape Cod.  

 

My paintings almost always reflect my daydreams.  They are an indulgence, an homage to my imagination, a tribute to my inner child.  And sometimes they focus on my obsession with a place that feels like home.

 

Door County, I know I’ll visit you soon, but in the meantime, my past visits will continue to inspire my paintings.

So happy to have won third place in this show.  It is one of my favorite shows.  All work is 36” or smaller in total.  I love creating small works that feel happy and magical.  27 artists were representing showing a total of 135 pieces of art.  The show will be viewable until January 19, 2020 at the Cedarburg Cultural Center.  

Very proud and happy to win a ribbon in the professional division of the Ozaukee County Art Show. The paintings will be on display at The Cedarburg Cultural Center until April 22nd.

The "Free Range" Artists are very excited to be offering our first full day of workshops.

Spend a half or a whole day at a turn of the century farm creating art, laughing and relaxing.

My workshop, titled "In the Garden - Painting with Clarey Wamhoff", will be a fun exploration of color and shape as we translate our vision to canvas.

Mike, Madeline and I moved into our new, old, turn of the century farmhouse, just three weeks ago.  We are loving it!  Especially Madeline, who camps out on the screen porch all day, watching the world go by.  And I am loving my new studio space, complete with a fireplace.
